There will be a one day event at the Queens Hall Charlestown, a village approximately 20 miles north of Edinburgh in the Kingdom of Fife.
Date: Sunday 23rd August 2026.
Location: Hall Row, Charlestown, Dunfermline, Fife, KY11 3EG, Scotland.
We will have a room in the hall from 10am till 5pm, and also have the use of their kitchen. We can bring our own packed lunches or food to share. There is also a shop in the village and hotels. There are woodland walks just beside the hall and a short walk down to the beach and harbour. There are bus and train options to get there from Edinburgh. There is car parking space too. If you would like to offer a lift from Edinburgh or you would like a lift let us know and we’ll try to match you up.
The day will unfold in the usual Sempervivum way, with a gathering to warm up and connect with each other to start us off, followed by short smaller gatherings and workshop offerings throughout the day. If you think you would like to be part of a sharing group that meets outside, please bring a portable camping chair for your comfort. We like to see these 1 day events as ‘a Sempervivum week in a day’, and as one participant said after the last event ‘It felt like a day out of time’.
Many of the Sempervivum members that attend have experience and interest in creative activities, meditation, therapy, personal development, yoga, Tai Chi, Art and Craft making, and many other interesting ways of helping oneself and each other; Sempervivum events aim to create safe and confidential situations where we feel comfortable enough to share our experiences with each other; Sempervivum can be seen as a group of friends working (and playing) together.
