Sempervivum are planning a 1 day event at Newbattle Abbey College in Midlothian, a few miles outside Edinburgh. It will be on Sunday 5th October 2025. We will have a room in the venue from 9am till 5pm. Newbattle Abbey College is set in beautiful surroundings beside the River South Esk. Here is a link to their website: https://newbattleabbey.com/
The day will unfold in the usual Sempervivum way, with a gathering to warm up and connect with each other to start us off, followed by short gatherings and workshop offerings throughout the day. We like to see these 1 day events as ‘a Sempervivum week in a day’, and as one participant said after the last event ‘It felt like a day out of time’.
The cost for the day will be £66, which includes the meeting room, tea/coffee on arrival, two tea/coffee breaks with pastries as well as a light lunch, parking, access to the grounds, etc. We will need to have at least 19 people attending to make the day viable for the venue organisers.
